The Lewin Group is a premier national health care and human services consulting firm that has delivered objective analyses and strategic counsel to prominent public agencies, nonprofit organizations, industry associations and private companies across the United States for nearly 40 years. The Lewin Group does not advocate for any policy, program or legislation.
Our principles
The value we place on accuracy, independence and objectivity is reflected in the trust our clients place in The Lewin Group. As such, The Lewin Group must safeguard its integrity, and address any appearance of conflicts that may stem from the organization’s relationship to other health care businesses owned by our parent company, Ingenix, and its parent entity, UnitedHealth Group.
The Lewin Group has established firm principles for preserving the integrity and editorial independence of work we deliver. Broadly speaking, our principles state that:
- The independence, integrity and objectivity of The Lewin Group shall at all times be preserved; and
- The Lewin Group shall supply impartial, fact-based analysis and insights to our clients.
We have business and technical practices in place that ensure independence and separation of Lewin staff, our systems and data, and our work products.
Our ownership
The Lewin Group is an Ingenix company. Ingenix, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, was founded in 1996 to develop, acquire and integrate the world's best-in-class health care information technology capabilities.
