The Lewin Group has wide experience working with public agencies and private organizations in tracking, analyzing, and shaping policies related to mental health, mental retardation, and developmental disabilities for all populations (e.g., seriously mentally ill, children, adults, and the elderly). Over time, The Lewin Group has developed marked expertise in evaluating state government approaches to federal policy initiatives such as Assertive Community Treatment, integrated behavioral health and primary care systems, Medicaid, and managed behavioral health care. In addition, The Lewin Group conducts research in the private sector, analyzing the quality, utilization, and costs of mental health benefits under employer-provided insurance.
