Aging and Disability Resource Centers Technical Assistance (ADRC-TA)
The Lewin Group provides expert technical assistance (TA) to assist states in the design and implementation of grants awarded jointly by the Administration on Aging (AoA) and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) larger Real Choice Systems Change grants. In addition to monitoring, tracking, and program support, Lewin identifies TA needs, develops "user-driven" plans for grantees, and develops peer-to-peer Web-based communications among grantees. Lewin also supports AoA policy development initiatives through preparation of issue briefs, short reports, newsletters, and other communications vehicles. A recent white paper discusses the benefits of technology in serving the needs of older Americans, people with disabilities, family members, and others.
