Carol Simon
Managing Director
Carol J. Simon, PhD. is a Managing Director in The Lewin Group. She has over 20 years experience in health care consulting and economic policy research. Prior to joining the Lewin Group, Carol was Principal Associate and Fellow at Abt Associates, and Associate Professor and Director of the Health Economics Program at Boston University.
Carol has broad based experience directing financial and economic studies for clients in the public and private sector. She has researched and published widely on payment policy; health care organization; regulation, cost-effectiveness and the causes and consequences of disparities in health care.
Dr. Simon has a PhD in Economics/Industrial Organization from the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago, an MBA in Finance from M.I.T. and a BS in Economics from John Carroll University.
