The Lewin Group Presents an Independent Analysis of the McCain and Obama Health Proposals

Falls Church, VA – October 2, 2008: The Lewin Group will present an independent, comparative analysis of the proposed health policies of Senator John McCain, Republican nominee for President, and Senator Barack Obama, Democratic nominee for President, at the National Press Club. The analysis is funded solely by The Lewin Group, a national health care and human services consulting company, with the intention of stimulating public debate on the future of health policy.
John Sheils, senior vice president of The Lewin Group, is a nationally recognized authority on health system reform. He led the analysis and will present the findings to health policy experts, Hill staff and members of the media. Sheils’s analysis will compare the impact of both proposed plans with regard to:
