The Lewin Group Welcomes Anjali Jain, MD

We’re pleased to welcome Anjali Jain, MD to Lewin. Dr. Jain will serve as a Managing Consultant for the Federal Health group. She comes to Lewin from her previous position at Children’s National Medical Center and The George Washington University, where she was a pediatrician and Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Health Policy. Previously, she worked as a physician editor for the British Medical Journal Publishing Group in London, UK as well as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago. In addition to the clinical practice of pediatrics, Anjali’s experience includes research and policy in the areas of child health, preventive health and obesity in children and families. In addition to teaching clinical care, Anjali also teaches courses and workshops on medical writing and publishing. She currently serves as the Chair of the Healthcare Subcommittee for the Maryland Childhood Obesity Committee as well as an Associate Editor at the journal Academic Pediatrics.
Anjali received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia as well as her MD. She was a resident and Chief Resident at the University of Chicago and went on to be a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Yale University. She has published widely in both medical and policy literature.
