Lewin Called “Gold Standard of Independent Health Care Analysis”

In a commentary written for the Opinion section of the June 26, 2007 edition of
The Wall Street Journal, Senators Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) and Bob Bennett (R-Utah) referred to The Lewin Group as “the gold standard of independent, health-care analysis.” The article, entitled “Fixing Health Care,” addresses health care reform and discusses the senators’ proposed legislation, the Healthy Americans Act. The statement regarding The Lewin Group was made in reference to Lewin’s analysis of the plan: “The Lewin Group, the gold standard of independent, health-care analysis, has estimated that our plan will reduce total national health-care spending by nearly $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years.”
