Erika Ange focuses on developing and refining policies and processes for Lewin. She uses her consulting, business development and strategy background to refine and expand in areas such as Quality Management System/ISO processes, recruiting, resource management and project management.
Prior to her current role at Lewin, Ange focused on policy and business development, with particular emphasis on long-term services and supports (LTSS) and Medicare-Medicaid Enrollee (MME) integration efforts for UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
Prior to her roles at Community & State, Ange worked on health care reform and government affairs for Optum®. For more than a decade prior, she worked with state, federal and private clients on Medicaid, focusing on the design, implementation and evaluation of managed care programs, program integrity and special populations.
Ange has managed complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. She has worked at two academic medical centers, three consulting firms (in addition to Lewin), a trade association and a nonprofit working on health care policy, litigation support and business development.
Ange received her bachelor of science in human development from Cornell University and her master in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
