Erika C. Robbins
Erika Robbins, MA, PMP, vice president, joined The Lewin Group in 2011, leading long-term services and supports projects with federal and state agencies. Prior to joining Lewin, she worked at the Ohio Department of Medicaid for over 10 years.
Robbins has extensive knowledge and understanding of Medicaid long-term services and supports. She has managed, developed and provided oversight over state plan services, including behavioral health, HCBS waivers, functional eligibility and enrollment processes, data collection and analysis, care coordination within a traditional medical model as well as innovative approaches to health and human service delivery.
Robbins managed services to approximately 400,000 Ohioans with disabilities equaling around $4.5 billion of Ohio’s Medicaid budget and developed Ohio’s nationally recognized Money Follows the Person (MFP) Demonstration, which has helped persons across age, disability and need to experience sustained community integration.
Robbins has direct experience developing state plan amendments and 1915c waiver applications. She has also developed policy and operations for residential and non-residential programs in a wide variety of settings. She has advanced innovative housing and employment approaches through Ohio’s MFP Demonstration and merged successful sustainable community integration approaches within Ohio state plan and waiver programs.
Robbins received her bachelor’s degree from Hanover College and a master’s degree from the Wright State University Applied Behavioral Science Program. She is a certified project management professional.
