Nancy Walczak, FSA, PhD, acts as an advisor on medical therapies and interventions for a number of private insurance organizations, pharmacy benefit managers and self-funded employer group health plans.
Walczak is a frequent speaker on the topic of the role of medical innovation as a driver of medical inflation at annual meetings of the Society of Actuaries and conferences. Walczak has more than 20 years’ experience in health care analysis and forecasting.
Walczak is recognized by her peers as a leader in the modeling of new, emerging and disruptive developments in the biotechnology and pharma space. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and received her doctorate in neuroscience from Northwestern University.
