Improving health outcomes across communities
The Lewin Group combines multiple data sets to develop profiles of populations with common attributes and health determinants. We use this data to understand differential effects and impact over time.
Policymakers can only connect at-risk groups to the right community-based resources when they understand their behaviors and health determinants. Lewin has been trusted to identify unmet needs and prepare community action plans for measurable impact.
Lewin consultants conduct qualitative, quantitative and observational analyses to identify key health issues or unmet needs. Lewin combines predictive modeling with stakeholder input to build consensus, strengthen collaborative efforts and increase consumer engagement.
Throughout the engagement, Lewin consultants listened to us and delivered superb analyses and thoughtful guidance – not canned solutions.

Modeling the impact of Alzheimer's disease
Alzheimer’s is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and there are no available therapies that address its underlying cause. A treatment that could prevent or cure Alzheimer’s would save millions of lives and protect the budgets of taxpayers and the government.
If a treatment were introduced in 2025 that delays the onset of Alzheimer’s by five years, it would reduce every category of those who suffer from the disease. This could not only ease the burden on patients, families and caregivers, it could save $83 billion by 2030.
